Overriding availability on a specific day

In this article, you'll learn how to modify your recurring availability on a specific day.

Modifying an availability preset

Browse to your availability presets under Availability and click on your desired preset. On the calendar preview, highlight the range of time you'd like to override, and click one of the override controls:

Here's how the respective controls work:

  • Allow: allows people to book during the range of time
  • Block: prevents people from scheduling during the range of time

Overrides you apply to your availability preset will also apply to all links that use that preset.

Customizing behavior for Allow overrides

On the Allow override, you can optionally choose to ignore calendar conflicts, minimum notice preferences, or frequency limits.

For example, suppose you have an event called "Busy" on your calendar that you generally want to block availability, but on a specific occasion you want people to be able to book during that time window. To accomplish this, you'll want to toggle on Ignore calendar conflicts when creating the override:

The same logic applies for minimum notice restrictions and frequency limits.
