Prioritizing your round robin pool
The priority setting on round-robin link attendees allows you to specify which members of the round-robin pool should be given priority when we automatically assign an organizer.
To give a concrete example, suppose you have a scheduling link for booking a demo that includes two salespeople. Ideally, one of the two salespeople would be assigned to the meeting, but in case neither of them is available at the chosen time slot, you would like to assign a support team member to the meeting. You can achieve this using the priority setting.
Using the priority setting
To use prioritization, click Link Type in the sidebar of your scheduling link and make sure it is set to Round Robin with Optimize for Availability mode.
Then, click on the Availability section. For each attendee you'd like to include in the pool, ensure that Round Robin Behavior is set to "Include in round robin." By default, all attendees have their Priority set to 1, which means no individual organizer will be prioritized ahead of another.
Suppose you want to always assign bookings to Tiff if she's available during the chosen time slot, and only assign Derrick in the event she's not available. To accomplish this, you should set Derrick's priority to 2 and Tiff's priority to 1.
