Let clients book meetings on your Outlook calendar

Connect your Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com account under Settings > Integrations, then share a scheduling link. Clients pick a time when you're free on your Outlook calendar, and SavvyCal adds the meeting to it and sends them an invite. They don't need a SavvyCal or Microsoft account. Scheduling links are on the Basic plan.

How do I connect my Outlook calendar?

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations and find the Calendars section.
  2. Click Connect another calendar and choose Microsoft 365. If you haven't connected a calendar yet, click the Microsoft 365 button instead.
  3. Sign in with the Microsoft account you use for Outlook, and approve the access SavvyCal asks for.

Work, school, and personal Microsoft accounts, such as Outlook.com and Hotmail, all connect. If your company only lets admins approve new apps, an admin may need to approve SavvyCal once. See Connecting your calendars.

Which calendars does SavvyCal check?

The calendars you check under each account in the Calendars section. When you connect your first account, its main calendar is checked. You can connect as many accounts as you like, including Google, iCloud, and Fastmail alongside Outlook, and a time is busy if an event on any checked calendar blocks it. See How SavvyCal decides when you're busy.

Which calendar do bookings go on?

The one you pick under Create events on... at the top of the Calendars section. For a Microsoft account, SavvyCal can only create events on the account's main calendar. When bookings go on your Outlook calendar, Microsoft sends the invite from your Outlook account. See Where calendar invites come from.

Yes, when bookings go on a Microsoft work or school calendar. Open the link, click Location/Conferencing, click yourself, and choose Microsoft Teams on the Location tab. Microsoft then adds a Teams meeting to each booking. Personal Microsoft accounts, such as Outlook.com, can't create Teams meetings. See Integrating with Microsoft Teams.

Copy it from the Scheduling Links page, and paste it into an email, your email signature, or your website. To add it to your website as a booking page, see Embedding links on your website.

SavvyCal for Chrome works on any web page, including Outlook on the web. While you write an email, open it to insert a link where your cursor is, or to copy a few times to propose. It also works in Microsoft Edge.

What doesn't work?

  • SavvyCal connects to Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com in Microsoft's cloud, not to an Exchange server your company hosts itself.
  • Teams meetings need a Microsoft work or school account.
